What should I bring to my first appointment at Sydney Endocrinology?

Please bring the following to your first appointment:

  • A referral letter from your GP/Specialist.

  • Medicare and any concession cards.

  • Any relevant test results including scans, X-rays and blood tests.

Do I need a referral to see an Endocrinologist in Sydney?

Yes, a valid GP referral is required for Medicare rebates. GP referrals last 12 months and specialist referrals will last 3 months.

What conditions does an Endocrinologist treat?

Endocrinologists manage hormonal conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disease and osteoporosis.
