Dr Ruby Chang is an Endocrinologist and Obstetric Physician consulting from North Sydney with expertise in women’s health, pregnancy related obstetric endocrinology, diabetes and general endocrinology.

Dr Chang is delighted to be joining Sydney Endocrinology, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based care for adults with a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.

She completed advanced physician training in both Obstetric Medicine and Endocrinology and has extensive experience caring for women with complex medical and hormonal conditions throughout pregnancy and across all stages of life. Alongside her specialist expertise in obstetric endocrinology, Dr Chang also manages general endocrinology conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, PCOS, menopause and bone health.

Dr Chang has particular interests in:

• Gestational diabetes and diabetes management

• Type 1 diabetes and insulin pump therapy

• Thyroid disease, including thyroid disorders in pregnancy

• PMOS (was PCOS) and hormonal health

• Menopause and perimenopause management

• Maternal and placental metabolism in high-risk pregnancy

• Osteopaenia and osteoporosis

• Women’s health and preventative metabolic health

• Men’s health

Dr Chang is passionate about helping patients better understand their hormonal and metabolic health, with a focus on practical, individualised treatment plans that support long-term wellbeing. She works closely with GPs, obstetricians and allied health professionals to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
