Health & Well-being Coaching and Lifestyle Medicine
Frequently Asked Questions
If you’re wondering whether health coaching or lifestyle medicine is right for you, you’re not alone. Here are the questions I hear most often — answered honestly and plainly.
Q What is a health and well-being coach?
A A health and well-being coach works with you to build sustainable changes to the habits and lifestyle factors that affect how you feel — things like nutrition, sleep, movement and stress. The focus is on understanding what’s getting in the way and creating practical changes that actually fit your life.
Q Do I need a referral to see you?
A No —you can contact Sydney Endocrinology on 02 9157 9095 to book a free Discovery Call or initial session. No referral is needed to get started.
Q I have no energy and I don’t know why?
A Yes — fatigue is one of the most common reasons people reach out and it rarely has just one cause. I look at the full picture — sleep, nutrition, stress, hormones, movement — and help you understand what’s actually driving how you feel.
Q I’ve been told to change my lifestyle but nothing seems to work for me.
A Generic advice rarely sticks because it doesn’t account for who you are or what your life actually looks like. I work with you to build a plan that is genuinely tailored to your situation — not a handout, not a one-size-fits-all program.
Q I feel like I’m doing everything right but still not getting results.
A This usually means something is being missed — whether that’s sleep quality, stress, hormonal factors, or simply an approach that isn’t quite right for your body. Looking at everything together often reveals patterns that explain why things aren’t shifting.
Q I don’t know where to start —is that okay?
A Absolutely — most people feel exactly this way when they first reach out. You don’t need a goal or a plan; that’s my job, and we figure it out together from where you are right now.
Q I’ve tried before and it never sticks — what makes this different?
A I won’t hand you a meal plan and send you on your way — instead I’ll help you understand why previous attempts haven’t lasted and build something that works with your life, not against it. The goal is never perfection, just sustainable progress that feels manageable.
Q How do I know if I’m ready?
A If you’re reading this, you’re probably more ready than you think. The Discovery Call is a free, no-obligation conversation where we can talk honestly about where you are — no pressure, no commitment required.
Q How do I get started?
A Book a free 15-minute Discovery Call via Zoom or phone — no preparation needed, no obligation to proceed. Simply contact Sydney Endocrinology 02 9157 9095 and I’ll be in touch.
